I’ve been keeping a low profile lately because I’m on a writing jag.

I have an anthology story due in May as well as a partial and synopsis for another anthology that needs to be done by April. O_O

It’s the partial I’m working on now. The anthology is a shape-shifter/western theme. There will be six stories with the shifters loosely based on some of the animals of the Chinese zodiac.

My animal is a snake shifter. His name is Cyrus Mallone and he’s a Texan.

So far I’m liking him quite a lot and his voice is coming through very clearly in my head. That’s always a good sign and bodes well for the development of the story.

Cy’s love interest is a younger man named Bobby Lee Sonders. He’s from Arkansas but beyond that I don’t know much about him except that he doesn’t know, at least at the beginning of the story, about his lover’s shifting abilities. Wow, does he have a surprise coming. *g*
